CONSULTATION
This goes hand in hand with experience. The idea is for you to provide your designer with the concepts and themes. You save money by having your designer provided the creativity based off of the themes, not the other way around. I can usually get started with the complaint and a phone call outlining some of the team’s current thoughts and themes they would like to bring to life.
PASSION
I’ve dedicated my entire career to legal graphics and any technology that will help someone teach someone something, in an engaging and memorable way.
IN REGARDS TO SMARTPHONES
Take a second to appreciate the design that goes into the user interface on your own devices. That process is literally shaping the way people will engage with information provided to them. So the question becomes; if our legal graphics are not even attempting to keep up with that level of inspired design, will a jury engage with them at all? My goal is to make the most engaging and memorable presentation possible for your jury and client.
RESPONSIVENESS
With the invention of the Webinar (Zoom,GoToMeeting,JoinMe) and large file format sharing / cloud sharing services (DropBox, OneDrive, Box) every member of your trial team could be in a different location and we could all still work together nights weekends or whenever. I’ll be there for those meetings regardless of time, will always make the last minute changes, and will do so in a prompt manner.
IMPRESS YOUR CLIENTS
Develop a case encompassing presentation early on. Use it for mock and mediation. Use it to explain the current state of themes being developed during client meetings. Show off a little.
